The country of Switzerland is a landlocked alpine country, located in Western Europe. It is one of the richest countries in the world and Z'rich and Geneva have been ranked 1st and 2nd in having the highest quality of life in the world. Switzerland is an area that recognizes four official languages; German, Italian, French and Romansh. While Switzerland is a relatively small country, it is home to 7.2 million people.
Geneva, Switzerland is considered to be a world city and has a cosmopolitan society. While Geneva may be a small metropolis, it booms with activity and is home to some of the most prestigious organizations in the world.
The Red Cross and European Head Quarters of the United Nations are both located here. Geneva also has over twenty parks the lakefront is the center piece of the city and offers endless opportunity for relaxation and recreation year round.
